I had an idea that was very clever. I made my own wide area vacuum using my Hoover 1076 convertible and my Eureka Boss 1934A. I took 2 2x4s and cut them in half. Then i put one in between the handels at the top and using ducktape to tape it their for this trial run. I put one on the bottom handel and done it the same way. After that u wrapped the cords up then i fastend a Powerstrp via ducktape to the hoover handel. plugged both cords in then turned the vacuums on. Then i plugged in a extention cord to the strip then i can turn both vacuums on using the powerstrip switch. I intend to imporve my desing. It looks like the concept wide area vacuums the 2 fastend together. Its pretty kool.
