a friend and I went to the Poconos today, antiquing, etc...
We stopped in a local vac shop and had a nice chat w/ the owner. More on that later...
My friend told me his Oreck was shot. I told him there was one in the basement. "I'll buy it", he exclaimed. He was thrilled. It's a gray XL.. new belt, etc. Another dweller left the house, and he got a replacement Oreck. It truly was a win/win situation.
Others will hopefully follow.

There are 2 more down there.

1 is a small one for cars, etc, plus a "hokie".. the little push/pull found in restaurants.
Upon uncovering the Oreck, I found a box of Kirby "Tradition" attachments. I believe they're "complete". I'll have to really concentrate on this stuff now since the holidays are over.

Still "down there"

waiting to be placed either in "Supermarket" or Ebay are a "gold, anniversasry" Electrolux shampooer, a Westinghouse upright, 3 Kirby{s}, an Oreck car vac, a brand new, unused Sanitaire toolbox commercial, and a few others. I know of 1 or 2 Dial A Matics.
I must get it all ready.

Dear Lord!

Upon putting some Christmas boxes away, I discovered another Kirby attachment set down there.
They really ARE like "bunnies" down there.

Wow...if you keep digging, you might find Stephen King, children, are possibly even a clown under the stairs. Whatever you discover, please keep us apprised as the mystery unfolds!

There are no clowns here, I'm sure! lol

There ARE bodies though. This house was built on an old cemetery. I have found things.... including a human pelvis.

so what's the story with the 3 Kirby's? Did they just pop up out of the cemetery?

But, a pelvis did..... another story, another time.
People insisted that I 'needed' these. Nope. So, they'll be sold

So the people who said you needed the Kirby's - they're not in the cemetery are they? Or possibly in Hoover type C bags? (bad humor I know).

Speaking of old Kirbys, I remember (many years ago) a woman talking about some kind of pants that you hook up to the vacuum to lose weight. She was really excited because she had a Kirby. Not sure how it worked out for her. Probably had clean carpet, but I doubt it did her any good otherwise.

so which model Kirby's do you have?

1 red one. The red is "Tradition", I believe. I'll have to re check. There are also 2 complest sets of tools, too.
