Just want to say thanks to Seamus for having me (& the Powerdrive) today! It was great to see his collection, especially all those US machines, which I wasn't gonna see elsewhere on this side of the pond! Fascinating to see the differences between them and the British models in the metal.
Looking forward to seeing the Portable with its new lid (didn't realise they were so dinky!) And it was nice for me to show off my Powerdirve to a fellow collector who hadn't experienced one before.
And I didn't leave empty handed either - a better bag for my 6525C, a load of pygmy bulbs and a whole pack of genuine Convertible bags - I can bin my horrible pattern part ones now. Didn't even realise Hoover still made them...
Seamus mentioned a trip to North Canton in a couple of years time to visit the Historical Center - I'm well up for that!

Si , I sent 2 US hoover convertibles to Richie back in December of 2005, they are both blue and one has the headlight and the other doesn't. I'm suprised he didn't post pics of them in his album. by the way there are 1970's convertibles i sent him. I'm posting pics of them
