Just spotted on the Argos App. Two bagged cleaners, with similar bodies to previous models. Both Made In Germany, Complete Clean & Pet & Family models, both priced at £229.99 & £129.99 respectively.

Its about time. Last time I saw one of these it was a white model with pearlescent paint body and turbo brush. MR have been making them for years, more common literally in the place they are made - Germany - and under EIO brand name.

Glad to see these back, they were great vacuums. Very over priced though, the older versions retailed for around £100

As Turbo 500 says, the price ticket is insane. I suspect that the £229.99 figure is such that Argos will reduce it in a "sale" at some point.

I am quite sure these are built for Morphy Richards and not by them, as pretty much all their own production is in the Far East. However, they do look fairly substantial cleaners, and if the last lot was anything to go by, they will be a good choice for the consumer.

We're they made in Germany previously? I recall some family member having a 'Premair' model in about 2005 ish & I'm sure it said Made In Germany on it.

As you say though, the prices are quite high but they do look good machines.

Yes, Beckham, this line of cylinders has always been made in Germany

Thank you for confirming that, Chris.

There is also a white version on Anazon.co.uk.

Saw the family and pets model demonstrated on QVC recently. I may get one if I spot a bargain, especially as they are made in Germany.

If they are as good as the previous models then they should be a good choice. Spares that fit previous modes Aldo fit these new ones aswell.

I love the way

It says 'bagged' but they also claim that it is 'multi cyclonic'...

Argos make that mistake quite a lot. I've seen it on Miele Vacuums aswell.

From what I can remember, they are quite heavy. Perhaps these newer eco ones will be lighter. What I don't like is that they come with right angle style handles - not the bent types like Miele - i.e. more inclined to clog as opposed to easier to remove with Miele.

They now weigh 6kg. And they are also 650w now.

The 1800 watts version sold in Germany under the EIO label seems to be 6.8kg.
