Looks like it has a headlamp, so if it is a 700, it's one that's been retrofitted with a lamp-cap. I'd say it's a 750. |

Even though you currently don't collect this far back, it would be a great one to start with. As Jack said, they're not difficult to restore. And trust me--once you've tried one of the pre-war Hoovers with the round motor (or as they're often called, "coffee can Hoover"), you'll love them--I, and many others here, can vouch for that!!
