One of the shampooer /polishers that has been longest running in South Africa is this. Now called the nimbus It dates back to the late 70's and has not changed much apart from the tank been made bigger and a new handle design. I hate working on them but they are still very popular and sell like hot cakes.

The Rexair "Rainbow" model D was launched in 1955. It ran until April of 1980 in three different colors. In 1974, a power nozzle outlet was added, making the model number change to D2. Here's my perfect Model D Rexair (gold) and my perfect 1964 Chrome Dome, from my good friend Robert Castaldo.
