I was browsing through Craigslist late the other night and came across a Rainbow E Series from 2003. It had both hoses, the inflator tool, power nozzle, and all the attachments. From the looks of the pictures on Craigslist, it was used a lot. The dolly had paint spots all over it where the previous wonder just let it bang into walls and the baseboards, which absolutely drives me crazy. The power nozzle had the same, but worked. I only gave $75 for all of it and it came with a 1/3 bottle of Rainbow Air Freshener. I am at my aunt's now with it and only have the standard attachments with me. I'll post pics of that and then get pics of the power nozzle when I go home later today. Enjoy.

I've got a nice E as well, they really are great machines, like every model of Rainbow.

I really like my Rainbow E series.

I found it at Goodwill for $35. Then again it didn't have anything with it except for the dolly. Since then I've come up with a non electric hose, an electric hose, the stainless steel wands, two basins and the regular attachments. I've been thinking about getting the new minijet for it. I figure I don't need the power nozzle since I have my Kirbys for the carpet.

Mine has a date code of 102.
I'm not sure if that means first quarter of 2002 or January 2002.
It has the G series motor instead of the A series.

Something I did with mine when I first got it was clean the fans, replace the cooling filter around the motor and replace the hepa filter.

Hint - to get the separator really clean I put it in an ultrasonic bath then scrubbed it down afterward.

You ,right be surprised how well the Rainbow does on carpet, I'd still recommend getting a PN for it, I haven't yet see another vacuum outclass a Rainbow, although some clean as well as they do.
