For the people in the know.

Is the "rug renovator" (shampoo system) specific to Heritage 2, or other systems would work (and which ones?)?
Thank you.

the miracle head /rug reno with the heritage II can only work on the heritage II, heritage II legend, and legend II. with kirby, compatibility has to do with the safety switch design because of how the heads were cast to work with said switches.

Rug Renovator

The Rug Renovator was introduced in 1965 with the Dual Sanitronic 50. As for your Heritage II, the RR's that would be compatible with it are:

-Heritage

-Heritage II

-Heritage II-Legend

-Legend II

Hope this helps!

Thank you guys. Thinking of buying Heritage 2, and fitting it with RR.

to remove

the bag top, there are 2 metal tabs on the underside of the hanger. Reach under the plastic piece, and carefully bend both tabs outward, then slide the bag off. Reverse those steps to put the hanger back on. Simple! :)

I remove all the top bits and the emptor, turn inside out and vacuum/ brush it well and start some hand washing with Tide, normally takes several times to get the water to show clean, then a rinse or two or three .

...Or you can wash in your washer on gentle cycle using a mild detergent like Woolite then

Let it air dry.
