Attached is a photo of the nameplate of a Prolux Plus upright cleaner by Electrolux. I thought it was a commercial machine, but the information states "For Household Use Only". Please explain. |

The Prolux was the commercial machine. That same stamp was put on every upright hood of the era. I have the instruction book here and the first lines of the warranty page state:
What is Covered by this Warranty. This Electrolux Commercial Product Warranty protects the original purchaser for one year from date of purchase against defects in material or workmanship when this product is operated in accordance with the manual instructions provided with this product. |

Well, that is quite the machine. Anyway, this machine is probably for use with both commercial and household use. Even though that is says that it is for household use only, I own many commercial vacs that say "Household use only" on the machine. For example, I have a Hoover heavy duty concept 1 and it says household use only.
