Late in posting this, but I found a good material last summer for vacuum filters. I was trying to replace the exhaust door filter in a Hoover Slimline. I couldn't find cut to fit window A/C material anywhere. However, I did find air filter material to fit in-floor HVAC vents. It is electrostatic and cut to fit, 12 filters per pack. I trimmed a piece to fit the door on my Slimline and it worked great. Right thickness and width. Just had to glue in place. It won't work for larger filters, but for small exhaust filters it works great.
