Lord help us, Hoover Europe have re-tarted up the old Freedom and relaunched it at Argos.

Also a "Vision" bagless upright that looks like it has a copied Vax Mach Air handle...also looks like it has a new hood.

It's interesting to see that a lot of the new revamped Hoover models are now claiming A ratings in all four categories, including the Purepower/Enigma. I wonder if they have changed the brushroll to improve pick up.

I don't know Roger. Since buying the Hoover Idol upright stick vacuum, I've been put off buying any new Hoover upright. It would appear that they are advertising the awful rubber squeegee roller based hard floor tool for their hard floor cleaning functions in their cylinder vac videos on Argos as well as the hellish carpet floor tool.

I don't quite know why Hoover persist in doing this. It's like they are purposefully including two floor tools for two separate cleaning functions and yet with patent pending stamped on those floor tools, looks like a cheap Chinese production set to save costs from buying in proper Wessel Werk combi floor tools. The Hoover "Rush" has those two tools as well as the TeliosPlus models, different specs of course.

Not all of their cylinder vacs appear to have these hellish floor heads, which remains a mystery as to why Hoover are purposefully alienating themselves even further down the satisfaction and performance stakes. I do hope Which magazine test Hoover cylinders with these floor tools as they are absolutely dire, in my opinion.
