So i picked up this Hoover Turbopower boost U2716 for £15 from a charity shop (as i have never owned a Turbopower before) and it was in kind of good condition but did need some cleaning. It came with an old manky genuine reusable bag (which i threw straight away)It was closed with two bulldog clips! And there was lots of dirt inside the bag compartment. It does have a bit of lean. Also the lower cord hook is broken. The headlight doesn't work (not a big problem will replace it)The belt was very stretched and chaffed in a spot. It had its original bulb (or at least a genuine one)
Unfortunately it didn't come with its tools and the hight adjustment is broken but luckily i can still use it! The height adjustment isn't a problem as my carpet pile is only short. Its dated as January 1993. I do think it is sun scorched a tad and has gone a yellow/cream color. This may have been caused as it was kept near the window in the store. Origanly it would have been a white/light gray color.

Emma, Welcome to the site. I'm sure your new Hoover will clean up well. Remember to take pictures of it after you've cleaned it up.
