I recently acquired an estate sale Vita-Vac. Lightly used, around the end of mfg, parts still sealed in plastic.

Anyway, can anyone hook me up with bags??? I searched the archives and found the suggestion for Air-Tec bags, but it seems their site isn't responding.
All I'm finding online are the single ply aftermarket stuff. It seems blasphemous to use a single ply bag in this machine. It's a great machine, I love it (except the Douglas power nozzle). Don't want it to be placed in the corner to be looked at because I can't find bags, I want to be able to use it.

Thank You in advance for your help.

Here is Air-Tec's phone #. I actually had to call them direct when I ordered. You can look at their products page for the Air-Tec bags. They truly are very nice with a clear top to see how full it is.

Thank Goodness,
Air-Tec is still in business, so relieved.

Since I couldn't get their website to respond to see prices, do you know what they run? Will I have to sell my left one to get them?

I bought some wonderful Air-Way bags on eBay from Eureka-Direct (that's the name of the vendor). They are micro-lined two-ply bags. I'm VERY particular about the bags I use in all my Air-Way's. These bags are really good quality that do not leak dirt. Air-Tec's bags are also very good.

If your Vita Vac has the douglas power nozzle, it's not at the end of the run. The Centec nozzle was used for the last 4 years of production, just like a Signature Series model.

it's not at the end of the run

Well then it's older and less used that previously thought.
I will post the S# when I get home this evening, and maybe we can decypher when it was built.

It was gently used, attachments are still sealed in plastic, the power nozzle has a few scuffs but brushroll had little wear.

Tom, Thanks

That was a great ebay store, Fast shipping. I got a notice that they shipped about 10 minutes after I ordered, received today.
Will try them later, but they look much better than the single ply aftermarkets I had found.

I would highly recommend the Eureka-direct ebay store
