Hello all. here is a pic of my lux 89, including the matching hose and attatchments. I found it on the local craigslist and bought it from the original family who owned it since new. |

oh yes the hummm of the lux and the sound of the suction at the floor nozzel... it really brings to me feel good memories of my aunt vacuuming her house... I just love that sound!! |

Hi everyone: The nozzle closest to the machine was called a Dual Purpose Floor Tool. It appeared with the last couple of years of the model 89 in place of the rug nozzle (which was still available as an option) and was billed as being good for rugs or floors. In practice it really didnt do much. It was relegated to being an optional accessory with the next model (AP100) then dropped entirely. |
