Well, ONE DAY it might be pretty. But, it just makes me want to take a shower. I do NOT want to be the one to restore that. It's going to be a full-time job!

Well maybe that's why offers are being invited then. Who knows what the seller is willing to take for it?

Constellation

I agree the price is high but it is the first with the right hose that will usually clean up nicely.Does no one remember that one of the British collectors took at least 2 Hoovers that were MUCH worse and restored to new condition?Should someone make a much lower offer or let it go to the scrap metal yard?!?

That is the WORST looking 82 Constellation I have EVER seen! Wouldn't mind having the hose from it though. My 82 Connie is in near mint condition except for wear & tear on the tool caddy and the hose being permanently stretched from my Grandma keeping it hung up in the closet all those years. Here's a pic of mine.

I have to admit, that ratty thing looks like something which should have splashdown in a toilet! 1955, more like 1855! Why, I've seen cannon balls look better, illegally dug out of a battlefield, than that, that infectious/angry looking thing!yell

Nice Connie, Jeff. One day you'll find a hose.

Thank you John! The hose I have is actually very good-looks good, no leaks, etc. Only thing wrong is that it's permanently stretched from Grandma keeping it hung up when she wasn't using it.
