Hey guys why is the brushroll on my windtunnel make so much vibration noise? It's loud when I'm vacuuming not smooth.. And horrible when its on the uoright position.. Very loud.. It's the BRUSHROLL because I ran it without and it's nice n quiet.. Put it back in and it's vibrating bad like maybe the bristles are hitting the duct of the brushroll housing? Not sure.. Anyone have any suggestions?? It's the original hoover BRUSHROLL that came with the vac model U5454-900

Brushroll's bearings went bad. Time for a new brush. They're fairly cheap. Less than $25 and you'll be as good as new.

CWP Brushroll

Do you think i should get one of these replacement ones or just replace the bearings in the genuine BR? The bristles are still pretty good.

The nozzzle housing that the brushroll sits in could also be cracked or worn, allowing the brushroll to vibrate excessively. It's less likely, but could still be part of the problem. I'd just recommend replacing the entire brushroll instead of the bearings alone.

Problem!!! :-(

I bought a brand new BRUSHROLL today genuine hoover.. For the windtunnel and it doesn't set in place. The plastic grooves where the belt sets petrude way out and the original doesn't have this.. It looks like it would fit in place if I remove the felt guard pads on the windtunnel duct and bottom plate. Any suggestions?
