Alright guys so I bought a China hand vac a lil while ago see previous thread. IV crossed the China line *gasps* well today I thought it might be fun to tear it upset after I had the moter out I thought wouldn't this make a cool supercharger of sorts to increase air flow on say a Kirby or something well I still have that idea but after tearing into the actual rmoter I broke the contacts magnetic well I figured there's still some left so I just threw it back together and it arced. Im not an electrician but I know that's not good so any advice on not breaking magnetic contacts and what you think of the idea thanks

not popular?

Don't care for it? Yea its probably not gonna work huh? Just figure bits small enough motor it could fit inside the emptor or machine it so it could hook right to the exhaust

Oh! I didn't understand the original posting! I don't think the Kirby would ever need a super-charger, but the Kirby could make the best power-nozzle man has ever seen! laughing

well

My classics and my heritage could do with out but my sani 7 could use a push. Ive wanted to make a oreck power nozzle for awhile just need to figure out how and have a acceptable canister

Re Oreck power nozzle...

Believe it or not, in the late 60s Rainbow used a Oreck AS their power nozzle...Very few were sold, and usually only to make a sale in houses with shag and plush carpet.

I've used an Oreck power-nozzle setup on a Shop-Vac before! laughing

Your Sanitronic VII should not need any form of push, check the belt, brush, fan and bag before putting some kind of Chinese super-charger on it! wink
