Hi

My Sebo Felix is a few years old (Used for about 9-12 months, stored for 2 years) so hardly used.
It was my daily vacuum(from new) and the cable broke in the handle. I repaired it, no problem.

I them started having trouble with the powerhead. When in use the powerhead would activate and run on the foward push with the vacuum and when turning the vacuum or pulling back the problems would start,,, in NO particular order...
the brushbar would start/stop very quickly,
the green and orange warning light flick at the same time
then sometimes nothing the orange light stays on.

IF the powerhead was running normally and you bumped (and I mean tapped very lightly) a wall or baseboard then it would cut out with the orange light again!

It really bugged me and not being old or hardly used made it worse.

Now I have had the head apart had a look and I know the motor runs fine, but im putting it down to the contact points in the neck where the body meets the powerhead OR the cables that run down the neck of the powerhead and have to constantly flex when vacuuming.

Any previous experience or advice, ANY solution would be much appreciated.

I have had a Dyson for a while now and when i tried the Sebo out the other day it worked brilliantly for half an hour and I thought it had cured iteself but sadly not. I might be a collector of Dysons but i REALLY want my Sebo back.

Thanks in advanced...

It would be handy to know how old the Felix ET1 is because SEBO improved them a few years ago. I know mine suffered a fault after its 6 years and I sent the ET1 back to SEBO who repaired it for free - there is a problem on the older heads that CAN stop the brush roll from moving and it comes down to the connection contact points. If you can gain access to the wire assembly, a wire may have come loose.

Failing that phone SEBO UK and book a repair, or source one off EBay.
