I had posted about this particular machine a year or more ago, and I have just now gotten it cleaned up and buffed. All it needs is a cord. It was gifted to me by Dale Skaggs, who sadly passed away some time ago. Here is the finished machine after its visit with the buffer!

That is A beautiful 2C it's amazing that's it is over 70 years old and it's running and in great shape. I just got mine and I broke my emptor in less than 10 hrs trying to get it off.

Fingerprints

Yes indeed! I'm always having to put a cloth in my hand whenever I move my polished machines, fingerprints show up like a sore thumb on those beauties.

Wayne,

Those Emtors had small bag cloth openings. I'd prefer you find one used on models 3C to 515.

Ben, are you buying the machine? If not then whats wrong with having the correct original emptor and cloth bag on the machine. Oh, it also doesn't have that 500505 brushroll your always going on about.

Ray,

(1) Sorry, but this isn't mine. It belongs to Robert aka bvac.

(2) No, this machine's too old to take that kind of brush roll.

Bikerray

Leave Ben alone. All he did was make a suggestion that he thought would be helpful. Don`t jump all over the guy & start criticizing him for trying to be helpful....unless you want us to do that to YOU when you try to be helpful to another member.

For Petes Sake!

Gentlemen please don't turn my thread into a forum for arguments, it's certainly not why I posted pictures of my 2C.

Robert, my apologies if you construed my message as trying to start an argument. That was not my intention at all, only to stand up for Ben, as I feel Bikerray was trying to bully him.
