Hello everyone!! My name is Preston and I love vacuums! Ever since i was little I loved them. I've been a long time reader and finally decided to join. I use to ride on my moms old hover (i dunno the modle) as she would vacuum and fall asleep. I have a notebook that I would draw vacuums in when i was in grade school.

I have a kirby legend II and a a classic (its my roommates...) but he said i could have it when he moves.

I just wanted to say hello and any advice on hoe to get good deals would be great :) oh also.

thank you all :)
I look forward to chatting and getting to know people!
Is anyone from Utah?? :)

Welcome! Didn't we all start out that way? I didn't ride on my dad's Fantom Thunder, I pushed it from the time I could walk! tongue-out

Yes welcome! It's always refreshing to see new members join. Good deals can be found almost anywhere, there is a website called Searchtempest.com that will search craigslist, eBay, and a few other websites from all over the country. Just type in "Vintage Vacuum Cleaner" and enjoy;)

Thanks for the kind words. I havn't played with the Kirbys very much. They are all shake-out bags and I don't like that. Most of them the price was too good to pass up. I have been thinking about letting some of them go, I'm running out of room.
I don't get to Salt Lake very often, but I've had better luck at the east side DIs than the west side ones. The older parts of town tend to have cooler stuff.
