Saw this at a thrift store today. Runs fine but needs a new belt, they want $50 for it. Is that reasonable, seems a bit high but not sure how rare this model is??

The 575 was the 'economy' model to the deluxe 725. It is in all ways identical to a model 700, with the exception of the motor being painted instead of polished. It was an extraordinary value, especially compared to the price of the model 700. The 575 was launched in 1929. That is the original bag for that machine. Worth every penny of $50. Very rare today.

Picked it up for $40. Cleaned up pretty good so far and runs perfect.
