I found this at the habitat store today as well, it's in excellent condition. One friend has already said bags are hard to find for these and I'm inclined to believe that because there's a Dirt devil bag in it now lol. Again, I don't know much about these.

Oh my gosh I've seen only one of those in my entire life. My friend's mother had one. She had an Electrolux Silverado and I'll bet she got it when she bought it as a special deal. Electrolux would very often give you two machines. For example, I know of many people who bought a vacuum and got the FloorPro with it. I believe that was Lux's attempt to enter the stick vac arena but it didn't last very long. I have seen so very few of them and none of the stores I was ever in had one.

I have one of those-got it from the vac place here. Was included as a trade in toward a new vacuum.Only direct air 'Lux I had seen. The broom vac does work quite well.Good for the kitchen floor-think of it as a "crumb" vac.

They were used to induce people to buy 'tonight'. If you traded in your old cleaner, you usually got $30 off. If you traded in your old cleaner, and paid full price, you got the $100 Tri-Vac "free". They were imported from Canada.

I didn't realize when I picked it out of the trash box at habitat that it was this hard to find. It does a decent job cleaning for a stick vac too

Tri Vac

You will notice that the handle is removable and then you can use it as a handheld with the small attachments.Inside the handle tube should be the clean out rod with a hook built into the end.In the rare case of a clog from the fan housing into the fill tube there is small plug to remove and then reach into fill tube with hook and pull out clog.Bags can still be found including here if I were to find the right box.

TriVac

I have a brown Canadian TriVac listed on EBay that will show other features including the bag holder(NOT to be thrown away)and the felt type(not bristle)strip that works well.Mine does not have the clean out plug I mentioned above and believe all US versions had.But it would have been nice as the only problem when it was traded was a clogged fill tube.
