Hey all! So, yesterday, I struck gold at the local thrift store and found a very lovely Air-Way Sanitary System. I got it for $18, and all it needed was a new cord and some cleaning. The replacement bag that came with it uses Eureka Style F&G bags, and it's powerful enough to fill the bag efficiently. The motor runs smooth and quiet, and has that distinct ZAP when turned on. The only problem I'm having is that this cleaner seems to be missing the wheels from the nozzle. From what I have seen of other similar Air-Ways, they all have wheels on each side of the nozzle which aid in pushing the vacuum across the floor. So, I have a question for anyone who knows Air-Ways: is my machine missing the wheels, and does anyone have a set that they could send to me? I would love to get this old machine back to full functionality!

Jake, I have an original (dirty, but original!) bag for that machine, as well as a set of nozzle wheels.

If you'd like them, they're yours for the cost of shipping.

That would be awesome! Could you send some pictures to my email? (it's on my profile) I will talk to my dad and see if I can send you payment for them. Let me know when you get a quote on shipping.

You walked into a goodwill and found a WHAT!? That's unheard of! Mind taking more pictures of the replacement bag? I've never seen one like it! laughing

Not goodwill

but an Idaho Youth Ranch in the old-ish part of Boise. It was in the closed-off part of the Antiques and Collectibles section. I asked the cashier about it, and she was cool enough to check and see if it had a price on it. I will post more pictures and perhaps a video of it tomorrow!

PoconoVacMan, thank you so much! I look forward to seeing pics!
