Big thanks to Tom Anderson for sending me my very first Hoover Convertible with all the tools! It is a model 67 and I am in awe of the way it cleans the carpet! I have vacuumed my house 3 times over since I got it yesterday. I must say that is is so much more of a joy to use than my Dyson. Thank you very much!! :o)

Ryan came home from work lastnight and just looked at it then looked at me and was like "I just don't understand!" Following dinner he asked me what I wanted for my upcoming birthday (the big 24 ugh) and I went on a rant of the different Hoover models he should be out hunting for, not sure how it sunk in.

Oh I will be posting some pics of me with my new 67 :o)

Mike...

I am glad that you like the machine. Use it and enjoy it. The Convertible series cleaners will really grow on you. Give Ryan some time and he will come around to all of this vacuum stuff. Make sure to bring him to the convention this August in North Canton so that he can meet the good folks in the club. I just know that he will have a great time! Then he will "understand". Happy Hoovering!

Mike.....if it's any consolation, I have told my partner that if anything ever happened to me and they wondered if it was time to pull the plug.....simply bring a vacuum cleaner into the room (it doesn't even need to be plugged in and turned on!) and if my eyes light up don't pull it! If they don't, pull it!

Vacuum cleaners are in my blood for some reason and he doesn't understand why either. As a result of age and life experience (we are just a bit older than you guys) he at least accepts it now. I can't tell you how many times I've made him pull over suddenly while driving because I spotted a handle two miles away (not exactly) sticking up amongst a pile of rubble. I would just love to find a model 32 as this was the first Hoover I recall as it was the model my aunt had. Anyway, it's all in fun. I guess it's called passion!
