Hi everyone on Vacuumland! Hope you're all good!

I am very delighted to tell you I can finally live up to my namesake on here. I was scanning through eBay a couple of days ago for Numatics when I found something I have been looking for for 14 years (since I was 3 years old).

As you all may have guessed, it's a Numatic Basil NB200 in YELLOW! I always loved the yellow one, and when I saw it I just had to take the plunge, I got it for £60, and only waited 3 days as a courier posted it from Doncaster to London so I was very impressed and excited when I came home from college today.

He is in a fairly good condition as you can see, however there are a few chips and gashes around him, but they're not too much of a concern and apart from there being 2 chips out of the carrying handle, I have to say out of all the Basil's I have seen on eBay over the last 2 months, he is the best conditioned one so far.

I understand Basil is the stripped down version of Henry with a single-speed bypass fan motor 1100W which would explain him being so light, it feels as if there is no motor inside! But I am very impressed and I just have to share it with you guys!

Please feel free to post any Numatic photos on here, you are welcome to and it would be great to see some of your collections!

Thank you all,

Brandon.

Here is Basil next to his almost identical brother or cousin the Yellow HVR200A. I think they really do look good together despite their significant differences in specifications. This is what I always dreamed of being able to see :).
