Well, it certainly pays to use the Internet for research. I noted that the Polish website for SEBO shows off some of the new Eco models but more interesting are the slightly different data info supplied for some of their models:

The SEBO Felix Premium 1 "Eco" (same as the Pearl editions of the Felix) show a rather better performance rating:

There's also an X4 Automatic "Eco" and it appears to have an 850 watt motor - now Im not entirely sure whether Poland has the same voltage as us in the UK, so the motor may actually be entirely different in terms of rating/output.

The K3 Premium 700 also appears to have better data ratings.

If checking the site, do it on Chrome server and translate to English.

A 850 watt X series looks interesting. Wonder if we will get a UK equivalent 850 watt X series! They certainly do lol like better ratings.

Well ironically enough, the original X1 Automatic has 850 watts. Not much change there. Over the years it was increased to 1000 watts well before this EU law came into force.

So it was, returning to it routes. I assume they have tested the turbo brush tool will work on this new Eco X series. I'm I right in thinking the original 850 watt X series the turbo brush tool caused the blockage light to come on shutting the vacuum off so you couldn't use the tool.

Madaboutsebo,

The Eco models will be fine. It's just a of Sebo adjusting the bag light sensor. There is a tiny adjustment screw in the PCB they can adjust. I've some X machines that needed adjustment after a few years when the system needed adjustment. That is very rare however. As with the K machines, there's a knob inside the PCB unit that can be adjusted by turning it with a flathead screwdriver etc.

Thanks blakaeg didn't know that about the on board PCB unit. That's good then did wonder how they have got around the issue.

SEBO in the UK will have an X4 with 1100 watts in the next couple of weeks/months. There may be an 850 watt X1.1 too.

Ooo can't wait for these new models. I take it they will keep the same line up of X series just with the new lower watt motors! Bet John Lewis will have a 1100 watt Excel model come out soon too!
