I like your thinking Ralph. That makes a lot of sense. My major concern is using it to clean my chimney...I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to destroy the vacuum. |

I used to see those in the Sears catalogs and can't recall them having a bag available or not.
Craftsman had some interesting designs. There was a model similar to this with a variable speed lever and a smaller model with a gray tank that had a cord reel. They also had a power nozzle option of sorts that was propelled by rollers similar to a carpet sweeper. |
