Kenmore no longer sells replacement brush strips for old Powermate beater bar brush rolls (but replacement beater bar inserts are still available, go figure). You are forced to buy the new style brush. However, Sebo/Windsor and several other brands still sell brush strips for their brush rolls. Has anyone ever tried using another brands brush strip in a Kenmore beater bar brush roll and, if so, what were the results? Thanks.

I wonder if Rainbow brush strips from pn2 would work?
