the earliest Sanitaire ive seen was on eBay and it was a Eureka swivel-top Roto-matic that had been branded Sanitaire. must have been a 60s model, and suspect there must have been an upright to match.

i wish more folks would share their Eureka knowledge as much as the Hoover Gurus do. i get the impression that Eureka uprights sold a good quantity, perhaps comparable (in numbers) to Hoover? Why is it that for every 20 Hoover uprights from 1950-1975 i see only one or two Eureka uprights still around?
