My Electrolux Model L powered hose is getting crumbly. Can I replace just the hose portion? I'm on a budget. Is there something better than duct tape that I can use to rejuvinate the hose?

Yes, you can replace just the hose--for a pretty penny. You can also repair it which will restore its effectiveness and allow you to keep your Model L's original look intact--for a small fraction of that amount in addition to some time and effort.
