Kirby Brush Roll Question

From what I can gather, prior to Scott & Fetzer's acquisition of CWP in 1970 (during the same year the Kirby Classic first went on sale), the Kirby brush rolls had these available repair parts:

AVAILABLE INDIVIDUAL PARTS FOR BRUSH ROLL 1482S (MODELS 2C/512)
1461S - Brush adjusting screw, large
1463S - Brush adjusting screw, small
1482 - Floor brush shell only
1500 - Brush shaft
1501 - Brush shaft groove pin
1520 - Brush yoke, small
1520S - Brush end complete, small
1521 - Brush yoke, large
1521S - Brush end complete, large
1522 - Brush bearing
1523 - Brush bearing cup
1524 - Brush bearing felt washer

AVAILABLE INDIVIDUAL PARTS FOR BRUSH ROLL 1551S (513/D80)
1533 - Brush bearing corrugated strip
1534 - Brush bearing wave washer
1539 - Brush end plastic cap, small
1540 - Brush end plastic cap, large
1541 - Brush adjusting screw, 1-3/8" (models 514/D80)
1543 - Brush adjusting screw, 1" (model 513)
1551 - Floor brush shell only, 13"

AVAILABLE INDIVIDUAL PARTS FOR BRUSH ROLL 155169S (1CR)
154169 - Brush adjusting screw
155169 - Floor brush shell only, 16"
(remaining parts same as those for brush roll 1551S)

In the years after 1970, there had been changes.

I do know that no individual repair parts, with the exception of the brush adjusting screw (154169), were listed for the brush roll (152581) in the 1984 Kirby Heritage II service manual (773684).

Later individual repair parts for the sleeve-bearing rolls were:
153471 - Brush bearing retainer
153571 - Brush bearing, bronze
1539 - Brush end plastic cap, small
1540 - Brush end plastic cap, large
154169 - Brush adjusting screw
155281 - Brush end plastic thread guard (2 used)

Checkrate/Likes I'm wondering if among the four changes Kirby made to the brush roll for the Heritage II Legend was a replaceable sleeve bearing? The reason I'm hoping to know is because in the promo slick for the Heritage II Legend, it says the changes for it included an improved brush roll, described as having "four engineering changes to increase brush roll life at least 50 percent." ~Ben View Full Size

Checkrate/Likes Ben, I'll look at my Heritage II Legend when I get the chance, only how can I tell if the sleeve is repairable, and will my 13' mini-nozzle brush will be the same as described in the above add?

Checkrate/Likes The brush-roll has thick, black plastic around the edges. It looks pretty repairable! But I guess we won't know for sure until it needs fixing!

Checkrate/Likes Ben, didn't the Classic go on sale in late 1969? I'll have to look on many model list later.
