help! I keep snapping belts. whats wrong ive replaced a drive belt on my hoover concept one three times now all have snapped almost instantly after engaging what is going on ?

How old they are. If you bought them a few years ago and put them on now they will most likely snap because of the rubber being old or possible dry rotting. It's possible that you bought some cheap off brand that won't work with you're vacuum. The belt drive could be rusty and because it's so rough it causes the belt to break. Surprisingly that's all happened to me. Hope that helped. :)
