get a shark! they say in there ad campaign is this a good idea? my recent encounter tells me no I give this cleaner a big thumbs down for anyone. the model I used was a shark navigator pro and a shark navigator regular model I guess. a silver and a pink. as small as they are they are surprisingly heavy. there cords are very short. and when used I heard this very nice sounding brush roll all for show as it missed even the easiest dirt. the hose was very awkward almost like a old upholstery gun. second the lift away feature was very hard to understand. and the last thing I have to say was the filter caught almost none of the dust. why do people buy these? high end price for low end performance in my book

Too put it bluntly.

The typical American consumer now a days is dumb as a rock. They will believe anything that's on tv. And most of these people see dirt in the bin and think the vacuum did an amazing job without ever looking at the carpet and noticing it still looks horrible. I have met droves of people who swore by their dyson because they could see the dirt. Even though the old hoover wind tunnel made the carpet look and feel better than the dyson did.

My ex roommate, smart man bought one a year ago, the lift off pro?OH I love it! It cleans so well, filter is easy to wash, you can't believe what it got? Oh really, well put a new bag in your aged and beat windtunnel and tell me what you picked up? Oh Holy crap! I think it went back.

I bought a new shark lift off a year ago used it twice here in elpaso and melted the motor housing to the point where it did not have any suction, the people at euro pro exchanged it and I sold it to a lady that absolutely had to have one, I was glad to get my money back on that deal I knew about that problem from the euro pro shark I had 10 years ago.

Because people have to run out & get the newest & best thing on the market according to those hyped up infomercials no matter how misleading they are

The other thing to remember is..

Everyone likes something new every couple of months. We're now in a kind of a society where when someone upgrades their mobile phone after 4 to 6 months, its another device to coo over and to brandish the previous one as rubbish, when it is actually not.
