Great job getting this machine back up and running the way it should.

For me personally, I much prefer the roar of the 7 amp pancake motor used on the commercial Eureka and Sanitaire uprights. It just sounds more rugged and "this vacuum means business" to my ears.

But again, congrats on getting your sweeper fixed up the way you want it!

I like the motor on this machine better because it is original from the 1974. Old motors sound a lot cooler than modern motors.
