I was able to finish up the Kirby 510 that I've had sitting around thanks to the help of a007kirbyman (Bill Edstrom). I took the darn thing apart a few weeks ago and somehow lost several screws. When I moved three years ago, I had to thin the herd quite a bit. But it's slowly growing again! All the trim on this 510 is sprayed out, including the handle grip. The handle grip was tan, but I wanted it to be as close to original as possible.

She's the Plain Jane sister of the 4C and the 511. I have the original bag, which is in good condition. But all the screen printing is warn off.
I've read Consumer reports reviews of these early 500s, and they don't rate very highly. I don't understand why. These are stellar performers! They do a thorough job of cleaning the carpet.
