I picked up this Hoover Convertible Deluxe the other day at a local thrift store. I could hear it whimpering as soon as I walked through the door. I walked over to it and couldn't resist taking it home. So in the back seat it went to its forever home. The poor thing was filthy and had wire and threads wrapped around the impeller shaft. I'm sure that's probably why it ended up there. Here are the before pics:

It almost looks like new. It runs strong and sounds good. Best of all: It Beats, As It Sweeps, As It Cleans!!!
