Hi,

I decided to look for vacuum bags for our GE Swivel Vacuum. Looked for the model number on the bottom, where an old sticker apparently had covered it as the sticker goop was still there. Had to laugh when I read it: B2014! Probably hadn't been read in 50 years, and here I am reading it in that exact year...

Am intrigued by this as it looks similar to the VxxCxx models, but I can find no reference to this number. Would like to know the year, what bags it took, etc. If you know anything, please share.

Take GE swivel top bags (that's the name!). I'm pretty sure DVC still makes them, you should be able to find since at your local vacuum Shop! Hooray to you for deciding to keep that tank of a vacuum running!

Photos would help. I am wondering if it is a swivel top or a similar model. If you don't have a cam, try searching Vacuumland using the key term G-E (or GE) canister and see what you can find. You could also Google it.

Another thought would be to take it to one of your local vacuum cleaner stores--especially one with a seasoned manager or employee--and pick his or her brain.
