As I reach the last of the warehouse vacs I pick up what first looked like just another Hoover Mo 27/28(no bag, handle or hood) to throw on scrap metal pile and then notice the 'Model 80' cast in the metal and 'manufactured and warrantied by Hoover'under the headlight. Was this a Norca?Or something else?Any interest before it goes back on the scrap metal pile?

That would have been a Norca, it would have been the sister to the hoover 305 I believe. Does this cleaner still have its brushroll? The thing with Norcas - they had a 4 brush brushroll and no beater bars. I'd say if it's missing the bag, hand, and hood the machine would probably be scrappable. But if it still has that brushroll, save that. It's somewhat rare, someone may want or need that brushroll at some point.
