I got a electrolux discovery ii in a yard sale for 20 $
I took it appart all the way cleand it and fix it
now she purrs like a kitten strong suction grooms the
csrpet well ect
what an amount of dirt dust grime in the ouf
all and all a good spa day for my lux

took me some times thanks to the people that give me advice on how to take it appart . now she runs like newww , new filters and new bags and now the hose came in and the attachements quite happy whit it a good vacuum for sure for years on now

She works like new now suction at the hose is suprising for an upright im glad iwas able to preserve this one

I have an EPIC 2500sr that I picked up for $9 and it's now my daily driver after a full spa day and reassembly. Glad you enjoy yours.

Those Electrolux Upright do work pretty good when u take care of them .
A spay day and rebuilt sure helped mine alot and new hose from aerus electrolux was a bonus now i can use it a t its full potiential

Great work!  Did you take the motor apart and clean the fans?  I have an Electrolux upright that I'm tempted to tackle now!

HY , i took the motor out and clean the fans as best as i could , put evry thing
back together and she runs so smooth the motor has more airflow and suction and the
power head or power foot in this case works so good to suciton at the hose has improve gota love those lux , and yes tackle it the best thing you can do to a vacuum if u have question talk to me i just got done whit mine i could give ya tips if u need some take care

to desertortoise , its my 2 and a half year old short hair cat hes always around me when i film some thing . But as soon as i turn the vacuum on hes gone lol
