I bought a Hoover Convertible U4169. I had start to clean it, but the bearing of the brushroll are bad and I have to change it. I down know how to remove it. I found the number of the replacement part: 43267002.

I found how to remove the bearing, it was simple, just push it with a big nail and a hammer. I will order two bearing, two bristle, some bags and two belt. I put some rusted metal on appel cider vinegar, you can see the result on the picture. Now the zip of the bag is broken :(, I don't know what to do with that. I test the vacuum without the brushroll and I found this vacuum really powerful for a 5 amp motor. The carpet was always sticking in intake and it removed a good amount of fine sand.

When I ran into this dilemma, I brought the bag to a seamstress/fabric worker to have it repaired. I would suggest you do the same, but make sure you bring the zipper slider with you!

Hope this helps!

I put back the zipper slider back on, but it damaged (it miss one tooth). I will maybe follow your suggestion and ask my mother to sew another zipper or I will buy another bag because the bag start to have some sign of age.
