I was leary of their catalogs tactics. They wouldn't always show the exact pic of what they're selling. I once bought a "genuine Bosch" floor brush but when it arrived it was generic. |

In late 2012, I purchased a replacement handle release pedal for my 2004 Bissell Cleanview (model 8975). It took 2 weeks to arrive, but when I got it, it wouldn't fit my vacuum. So I prepared to send it back, but decided not to because I had to pay the return shipping, which was about the cost of the part itself.
A couple of weeks later, I bought the correct handle release pedal off of Amazon.com, and it fit my vacuum perfectly. I eventually sold the other release pedal on Amazon for $1.00. Last year, I cleaned up the Bissell really well and donated it to Goodwill as I didn't need it anymore (I had a Dyson). Meanwhile, I'm still looking for a replacement dirt cup for my Hoover Windtunnel 2 Rewind Pet. |
