This constellation has had a complete overhaul, it's top half has been repainted inuding the handle and a new decal badge was stuck on in replace of the original damaged one. I had to source all attachemnts for this and replace the motor capacitor. It's by no means perfect and the hose and connections are quite stained. It's clean, works very well and is the result of many hours of hard work. I did lose the pre pictures which really doesn't help as the top half was in terrible condition!

It's still amazing how

you brought it back from the dead. Of course, it's still a HOOVER... and will last for years more. KUDOS to you.

much appreciated...the worst vacs can provide some of the most satisfying feelings of accomplishment.
I think pristine condition vacs bought at a good price have their place; but a resurrected basket case vac worth much less than the parts needed to make it run may end up being your favorite vacuum to actually use. Why? Because, no reason...you don't dance to get across the room.
