Is the Tech Drive working normally except for the noise? The noisy Tech Drive usually means that the clutches are worn out. This happens to all G series Kirbys eventually with age. If you take your G5 to a vac shop, they will most likely try to sell you a new Tech Drive assy. plus the labor to install it. You can order a new Tech Drive online for about $95.00 and install it yourself. You will save a lot of money.
