That is a Vibra-Groomer III brush roll used in the power nozzle of Eureka Express canisters with the Power View window showing the status of the belt. This brush roll was Eureka's answer to Hoover's Quadraflex agitator. They both lack bare beater bars. Instead, the beating action is provided by the bristle rows which are flared and stiffened by specially designed bristle holders.
A very effective brush roll in actual use: Consumer Reports rated the deep carpet cleaning ability of the Eureka Express as excellent. |
