Since when did the Royal 606A heavy duty commercial upright cleaner have the flip-up headlight but with the rounded nozzle casting? This must have been a prototype, since almost all of these had the same nozzle casting as the 880 and related Royal machines with the flip-up headlight.

Both the 606 (rounded headlight) and 606A (flip-up headlight) came out around 1965 and were Royal's original commercial revolving brush upright cleaners. Royal also sold what was its last straight-suction upright cleaner, the model 311, in the same period.

While the 606A would be replaced by the 608 for 1976, the 606 and the 311 would continue up to early 1987.
