I found this Eureka on eBay and nobody was bidding on it. I don't normally buy F&G Eurekas, but I liked the chrome motor cover and it looked fairly decent shape for the price. The seller says it's a model 2364 but I can't seem to find out much about it. I'm hoping someone more knowledgable about these than I am can tell me a little about it.

This is a unique chrome and blue version of a line of late 1970's Eureka uprights known as the Continental Series. The original Continental Eurekas sported Moss Green hoods and bags.
The Rugulator on these Eurekas adjusts the front end of the vac to get the best contact with any depth of carpet. You should lean the vac back a bit to make it easy to adjust the Rugulator. As with most Eurekas of that decade, this one promises to be an excellent and elegant deep carpet cleaner. It will take the classic F&G top fill bags that are still sold everywhere by Electrolux of North America. I say go for it! |

Thank you for the information! Yes, I've seen the moss green Eurekas like that and actually wouldn't mind to have one of those in my collection either, but I had been watching this one for a day or two and nobody seemed interested in it. I figured for $9.99 I couldn't go wrong, and I had not seen too many of the chrome hooded ones quite like that model, so I went ahead and placed a bid.....imagine my surprise when I won the auction! I'm really excited to get it and give it a good spa treatment and a nice test run! Thanks again!
