This week-end, I bought this Kirby for 20$ in a garage sale. It's my first Kirby. I have some work to do to make it shine. I bought some wool steel #0000 and Mother mag & aluminum polish and I wish he will be shiny after that.

I started polishing it. This is the result, only the center is polished. Anyone had remove the mechanism to put and remove the belt? Did the screw in under the sticker? It is easy to remove the sticker and put it back?

You can actually buy a replacement sticker for the belt lifter.  Contact club member a007kirbyman (Bill Edstrom) for all your Kirby needs.

The motor and the bearing seem fine, I never used a Kirby before.
This is the last pictures of it.

Very Very Nice!

Compared to that, my Franken-G5 looks like crap. I will be making it look as spiffy as yours as soon as I get a new drive, handle back, and cord.
