What will happen to central vacuums when the new regulations come in? Surely if you have say a 5 bedroom, 3 story house, and if your Beam or CycloVac was down in your garage and you were vacuuming at the other end of the house on the top floor the suction would decrease. I tested this by going to my relations house, (they have a long bungalow) plugging the hose into the socket closest to their garage, (they have a Beam there) and testing the suction with a turbo head. I did the same test again only at the other end of the house, and the turbo head spun way slower. So what will happened to the 900w Central Vacuums, will they have some sort of exception so they can be more powerful?

Please reply,

Tom :)
