Getting ready for the Vacuum Collectors Convention in St. James, Missouri next weekend. Just got a new shipment of vintage vacuum cleaners. The 1910 Hoover Senior is flawless. The Royal crown is the first Royal with a revolving brush, revolved by the motor. The 1917 Torrington is especially rare. So happy to visit with all of my friends next weekend at the vacuum cleaner Museum.

I wish that I lived a bit closer. I would love to look at those machines.

I'd call it a VERY distant cousin, from when HOOVER was HOOVER!laughing

Those Hoovers could use a polish, though!

The Hoovers will get polished and cleaned up next week when the Vacuum Cleaner Collectors Group comes to the Vacuum Museum for the annual convention.

Amazing group of Hoovers

There are 1000s of places to see one old Hoover. But to see these models from this period in one place. What are the odds?!

Polishing-Many early Hoovers were not meant to shine like a new Kirby,The 1923 photo tour of factory book shows a fine wire wheel being used to buff.

Although I won't be able to make it out for the Convention, I'm hoping that one of these days travel will be within my reach and I can come out to visit and see the museum. Until then, I'll be there in spirit!
