Can anyone give me information on the Ge Deluse vacuum cleaner. The model number is AVF19A-67849. I believe my parents were the original owners and it has been with me for a while. My parents were born in 1908 and 1909. It appears to be complete however the beater doesn't turn although the motor runs.

Are BEAUTIFUL when shinned up! There's a beautiful one on the vacuumland homepage, in that area with the vacuum pictures that alternate. You may have to refresh a few times to find it. I believe these were around in the late 1940s. The bottom-of-line model was the AVF-26.

GE Deluxe

If I cleaned this up and got the beater to turn does anyone have an idea what it would be worth?

I have the same machine, metal bag clip is completely stuck to the bag from years of dirt build-up. Any ideas on how to get it off to clean the bag out??
